I already have a job, can I still work as a HandyPro?
As a HandyPro you work for yourself! Many HandyPros work part-time outside of their career to make extra money on the side. Since you are your own boss, you control how many jobs you get and the hours that work best for you!
How do I get paid?
Once you accept the job and arrive at the customers job site you will provide an independent bid directly to the customer. We ask that you provide honest and quality work and honor any customer coupons from HandyPros presented by the customer. Most customers will have a $25 off coupon when you arrive at the job.
Do I need to be insured?
myHandyPros.com is a labor only MarketPlace.
I own a handy labor company, can I also be a HandyPro?
HandyPros connects customers to labor only service providers.
Do I have to work a minimum amount of hours?
myHandyPros.com does not have a minimum number of hours for handy labor services. Once you accept the job and arrive at the customers job site you will provide an independent bid directly to the customer. This ensures you are fairly compensated before working on a job.
Are HandyPros Safe?
The HandyPros MarketPlace creates a safe connection between the HandyPro and the everyday customer who needs labor only services.
A HandyPro assists customers with general services such as, loading and moving boxes, pulling weeds, sweeping patios, unloading trucks, packing and unpacking boxes and cleaning services.
Who do I work for?
By becoming a HandyPro, you are starting your own business. HandyPros is a neutral venue and a marketplace for independent buyers and sellers of handy related services. You are the Boss! For more clarification, please read the HandyPro Agreement.
Why do you need my Social Security number?
HandyPros uses your Social Security number only to validate your identity. The number is not used to report tax information to any government agency.
What are my hours?
You determine the hours. You select the jobs you want on dates and times you are available!
Payment
What is the pay/rate? How do I get paid?
HandyPros set their own pay! You can charge specific rates for each different service you offer. You can choose how you want to receive your payment - cash, check or card.
What about taxes?
Tax reporting is your sole responsibility. You are not an employee or a contractor of HandyPros. You will not receive a 1099 or any other material documenting your earnings from the HandyPros marketplace.

Why can’t I log into my account?
If your application has not been approved or you have not attended the HandyPro Basic Training course you will not have access to your account.
